The Artega GT is a limited-production, mid-engined two-seater sports car developed by German manufacturer Artega and produced between 2010 and 2012, with only 153 units built. Designed by renowned automotive designer Henrik Fisker, the GT features a transverse rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and boasts a lightweight structure comprising an aluminum space frame and carbon fiber-reinforced body, resulting in a curb weight of just 1,116 kg. Powering the Artega GT is a 3.6-liter Volkswagen VR6 engine delivering 296 bhp (300 PS) and 350 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission. This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 270 km/h. Praised for its sharp handling and build quality, the Artega GT was well-received during its short production run and was priced around €75,000. Built in a purpose-designed factory in Delbrück, Germany, the GT served as Artega’s first model and laid the foundation for its future developments, including its electric successor, the Artega Scalo.
