Bugatti Bolide

- Year: 2024
The Bugatti Bolide is an ultra-exclusive, track-only hypercar conceived as the ultimate expression of Bugatti’s imposing W16 engine platform. First introduced as a radical concept in 2020, it embodies the pure essence of racing minimalism—boasting a near-pure chassis built around an 8.0 L quad-turbo W16, wrapped in the lightest carbon-fiber shell achievable.
In its prototype form, the Bolide generated about 1,825 hp and weighed just 1,240 kg, while the finalized production version delivers around 1,600 PS with a still staggering dry mass of approximately 1,450 kg. This remarkable power-to-weight ratio allows lightning-fast acceleration—0 to 100 km/h in around 2.2 seconds—and breathtaking estimates of over 500 km/h in top speed. Bugatti also claims Nürburgring Nordschleife and Le Mans lap times close to some of the most extreme racing cars ever.
Designed with razor-sharp focus on downforce and handling, the Bolide features a massive fixed rear wing, prominent splitters, gill-style ducts, and a sweeping aerodynamic profile influenced by LMP1 technology. Its race-spec suspension, pushrod-controlled dampers, and giant Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes make it a precision tool tailored for the most demanding circuits.
Inside, the cockpit is stripped back and highly functional, with fully FIA-compliant safety gear, bucket seats, minimal controls, and no unnecessary luxuries—keeping devotion entirely on driving. With only 40 units slated for production and a price tag in the tens of millions, the Bolide stands as a dramatic finale for Bugatti’s W16 era and a banner of its engineering ambitions on the track.
