The Bugatti Tourbillon is a groundbreaking hypercar set to launch in 2026, marking the brand’s first all-new model developed under the partnership between Bugatti and Rimac. Departing from the W16 legacy, the Tourbillon introduces a newly developed 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine, paired with three electric motors to create a hybrid powertrain that produces nearly 1,800 horsepower. This advanced setup enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.0 seconds, with a top speed that can reach around 445 km/h with the special Speed Key.
Built on an entirely new platform, the Tourbillon features an ultra-lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque, with 3D-printed suspension components and structural elements to reduce weight and enhance agility. The car also incorporates an 800-volt electrical system and a 25 kWh battery, allowing for a short electric-only driving range. The hybrid system enhances responsiveness and torque delivery, giving the driver exceptional control and instantaneous acceleration.
The design of the Tourbillon blends futuristic engineering with classic Bugatti cues. It retains the signature horseshoe grille and elegant side C-line, but every panel and mechanical element is completely reimagined. Aerodynamics are finely tuned with features like an integrated rear wing and a hidden diffuser, optimizing performance while maintaining a sleek silhouette.
Inside the cabin, the Tourbillon emphasizes timeless craftsmanship. The centerpiece is a fixed analog instrument cluster designed in the style of a luxury timepiece, surrounded by high-end materials such as crystal glass, milled aluminum, and leather. The seats are fixed to the chassis for weight reduction, while the pedals and steering wheel are adjustable to the driver. A hidden infotainment display is available when needed but stays out of sight to preserve the car’s analog character.
Limited to just 250 units and crafted by hand in Molsheim, the Tourbillon represents the next era of Bugatti performance. It balances extreme power and speed with elegance, precision, and an analog spirit, offering a truly exclusive experience that blends tradition with cutting-edge innovation.
