The BYD Seal is a battery electric mid-size sedan produced by BYD Auto and is the second model in BYD's "Ocean Series," following the smaller BYD Dolphin hatchback. It is built on BYD's advanced e-Platform 3.0, featuring an 800-volt electrical architecture that enables faster charging and improved efficiency. The Seal is offered in multiple variants, including rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, with battery capacities ranging from 61.4 kWh to 82.6 kWh using BYD’s Blade Battery technology known for safety and durability. Depending on the version, the Seal delivers impressive performance, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 3.8 seconds and an electric driving range of up to 570 km (WLTP). The sedan boasts a spacious interior with a 2,920 mm wheelbase, a large 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, and a 400-liter trunk, combining practicality with modern technology.
