Citroen C4

C4

The Citroën C4 is a vehicle produced by the French automaker Citroën, now part of the Stellantis group. Initially launched in 2004 as a replacement for the Citroën Xsara, the C4 began its life as a compact or small family car. It gained attention for its distinctive design and innovative features, aligning with Citroën’s reputation for quirky styling and comfort-focused engineering.

The first two generations of the C4 maintained the compact car format, offering hatchback and sedan variants in various markets. However, with shifting consumer preferences and the growing popularity of SUVs, the third generation C4 underwent a significant transformation. It was redesigned as a subcompact crossover SUV, blending coupe-like styling with SUV practicality. This change repositioned the C4 to better compete in the modern automotive landscape while retaining Citroën’s unique design identity and focus on ride comfort.
