Hummer
Hummer, an American brand of off-road vehicles, became synonymous with large size and aggressive styling. Originally produced by AM General for military use, the civilian version of the Hummer H1 quickly gained popularity for its rugged capabilities and imposing presence. Later, General Motors took over production and introduced the H2 and H3, smaller and more refined versions intended for a broader market, though still retaining a rugged off-road character. However, the brand ultimately faced challenges due to fuel efficiency concerns and changing consumer preferences. After General Motors discontinued the Hummer brand in 2010, it was later revived by General Motors as an all-electric sub-brand under GMC. The new Hummer EV signifies a significant shift towards sustainable transportation, maintaining its iconic styling but adopting electric powertrains to meet evolving environmental concerns.
