Unlike its track-focused siblings, the GT is designed to deliver long-distance comfort without compromising McLaren’s signature performance. Built on the same lightweight carbon-fiber Monocell II-T platform as the McLaren 720S, it incorporates a unique rear deck structure made of carbon fiber and topped with a glazed tailgate, significantly expanding luggage space to accommodate the needs of touring enthusiasts.

Under the hood, the McLaren GT houses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing around 612 horsepower, allowing it to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, while maintaining a refined and composed character on highways.
