Pontiac

Pontiac, a once-vibrant American automotive marque, was a General Motors division from 1926 to 2010. Known for its performance-oriented vehicles and sporty styling, Pontiac often positioned itself as a more youthful and exciting alternative within the GM lineup. The brand gained considerable popularity with its muscle cars, including the GTO, Firebird, and Trans Am, which became cultural icons and deeply embedded themselves in American automotive history. Beyond muscle cars, Pontiac also offered a range of other vehicles, from compacts to full-size sedans. However, amidst declining sales and the changing automotive landscape, General Motors ultimately decided to discontinue the Pontiac brand in 2010, ending a long and influential legacy marked by its association with performance and sporty designs.
