Qoros

Qoros Automotive is a Chinese automobile manufacturer established in 2007 as a joint venture between Chery Automobile and Kenon Holdings. Initially conceived with a focus on high-quality, safety-focused vehicles for the Chinese market and beyond, Qoros aimed to compete with established international brands by emphasizing modern design and advanced technology. While the venture ultimately faced challenges and discontinued its operations in 2019, Qoros represents an interesting case study in the evolving Chinese automotive industry. The brand introduced innovative design and technology solutions, demonstrating ambitions to disrupt the market with a more modern and technologically advanced approach to automobile manufacturing within China. However, difficulties in scaling production and navigating the complexities of the automotive marketplace ultimately led to the cessation of Qoros' operations.
